Myles Alderman  earned his AB in Economics and Psychology from  Kenyon College.  He continued his post-graduate studies of  economics and Cambridge University(Cambridge, England) and  law at Syracuse University (Syracuse, New York), were he was managing editor of the Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce, earned the LFE Goldie Award for Outstanding Scholarship and graduated with honors. 

He has over 20 years of experience working for, and with, financial institutions and businesses of all sizes. He is admitted to practice before the Federal Bankruptcy Courts in Connecticut and the Southern District of New York.  He appears in other courts with admission per case as needed.  He is a founding member of the law firm of Alderman & Alderman.

Myles is a member of  the Business Bankruptcy Law Section of the American Bar Association.  He serves the Connecticut Bar Association as a member of:  the Connecticut Lawyer magazine's Advisory Committee;  the Professional Discipline Committee; Media and the Law Committee, the Business Law Committee, and the Executive Committee of the Commercial law and Bankruptcy Section. He is also a member of the Business Bankruptcy Section and the Uniform Commercial Code Section of the   American Bankruptcy Institute.   He also  serves the  community  as a member of the Human Rights Commission for the Town of West Hartford.
